Quick answer
Choose the NOVA Orbital for a wider range of vibration settings and a slimmer, curved design; pick the Index if you prefer a very powerful rumbly motor and wired remote control for partner play.
Power and control trade-off
The NOVA Orbital offers 16 vibration functions, giving you plenty of variety to explore different sensations. The Index, on the other hand, features a very powerful rumbly motor with 10 settings, which many users find more intense and penetrating. The Index also includes a wired remote control, making it easier for a partner to take charge during play.
Design and fit differences
The NOVA Orbital has a curved profile with a precision tip, designed for targeted prostate stimulation. Its slimmer shape may be more comfortable for beginners or those who prefer a less filling sensation. The Index features a flexible, hygienic silicone body that adapts to your anatomy, and its larger size provides a more substantial feeling. Both are waterproof and rechargeable.
Trade-offs at a glance
- NOVA Orbital: More variety, less power: With 16 vibration functions, you get more patterns to explore, but the motor is not as rumbly or powerful as the Index's. Best if you like changing sensations frequently.
- Index: More power, less variety: The Index's motor is very powerful and rumbly, but you only get 10 settings. The wired remote adds convenience for partner play but limits wireless freedom.
- Size and comfort: The NOVA Orbital's curved, precision tip is slimmer and easier to insert, while the Index's flexible, larger body offers a fuller feeling. Choose based on your comfort preference.
